Outline, resin, or a board you live with
These are shop notes, not star ratings. A Florida outline is the state shape. A resin city plaque is the souvenir of a week. A whiteboard is furniture when the door is full. They share a magnet. They do not share a construction. GE Appliances says to bring a magnet and test the door. Scientific American splits ferritic stainless, which generally holds, from austenitic stainless such as Type 304, which usually does not. If a thin tin slides, that is the door, not a print defect.
Florida outline
The outline is the magnet you already know from a rest-stop rack. Jumbo rubber, about 5 inches, needs a wide door and a handle strip left clear. A 2-inch printed disc is the opposite: it reads as Florida only if you are already looking. Get this a Florida outline magnet if the shape is the job. Kids letters versus a souvenir
Kids letters are alphabet tiles and animal shapes a child can move. They are not a licensed character wall and they are not a skyline. Get this a wooden alphabet set if spelling is the job. Keep loose neodymium away from a toddler fridge.
Whiteboard and office
A magnetic whiteboard is dry-erase plus magnets when the fridge door is full. Test that the board is actually magnetic before you buy a letter set for it.
